ALQUIMIA SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP

Join Yaneth Cerda, for her first time soap making experience at Sigue Sanando Studio as our new collaborator member in-studio starting March 2026. We are celebrating new beginnings!

Soap making is a creative and rewarding experience, and I would love the opportunity to teach you the basics.

In this cold process soap making workshop, participants will enjoy about two hours of hands-on instruction while learning the fundamentals of natural soap making. All materials will be provided.

Each participant will leave with:

• Their own custom soap (about 1 lb) in a soap mold

• A basic soap recipe so you can continue practicing at home

We will be using high-quality vegan ingredients and natural colorants made from ground leaves, petals, roots, clays, and botanicals. All ingredients used are non-toxic and carefully selected.

Safety note:

Cold process soap making involves working with sodium hydroxide (also known as lye), which is necessary for the soap making process. Safety instructions will be provided, and participants will be guided step-by-step throughout the workshop.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves.

Safety equipment including goggles, gloves, and an apron will be provided.

Age: 13+ (participants under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian).
